Half Day Wading Trip
Get out for for a half day of guided fly fishing for 1 or 2 guests!
Do you have a river you’d like to learn more about? I can show you how to scout the river for both excellent fishing spots as well as safe wading techniques to put you in the right spot to catch fish. If you’re new to fly fishing or short on time, this is an excellent way to get hooked! Not every trip is an overnighter’, and learning how to get the most out of our local streams can significantly add to your fishing opportunities.
Half day trips keep us close to vehicles and emergency services and cell coverage, so if you need to be ‘within reach’ these trips are a good fit.
Explore the following rivers:
Piscataquog River- Route 13 in New Boston provides multiple access points and lots of small seams and pockets to fish. The wading in this river tends to be forgiving and the current is an easy read. This is a great river for an introduction to fly fishing and wading.
USGS Flow Rate for Piscataquog
Souhegan River- This river has access points from Greenville all the way to its confluence with the Merrimack. Wading in this river can be a little more difficult, especially around the best fishing spots, however I can help you safely get to these spots so you can focus on the fishing.
